Curriculum

Our Curriculum and Approach

Our curriculum is guided by the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which focuses on five key Learning Outcomes to support your child’s growth and development:
  • Children have a strong sense of identity
  • Children are connected with and contribute to their world
  • Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
  • Children are confident and involved learners
  • Children are effective communicators

Play-Based Learning & Key Focus Areas

We believe play-based learning is the most effective approach for fostering young children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Our programs are designed to be responsive to your child’s individual needs and interests.
Key areas of focus include:
  • Communication and language, including early literacy and numeracy
  • Social and emotional development
  • Inclusion and diversity
  • Sustainability and recycling, helping children learn to care for their environment

Partnership and Communication

We view every child as a highly capable and valued member of our community. Our educators interact at your child’s level, tailoring programs to suit their unique needs.
Family partnership is crucial:
  • We encourage you to share your observations and thoughts to help us in our program planning.
  • Weekly programs are displayed in each room and also available via the StoryPark app for easy, real-time access.
  • Programs are continuously reviewed and critically reflected upon by our team to ensure ongoing improvement.

Our Learning Environments

Our four themed rooms offer a stimulating environment tailored for different age groups. Each space provides a rich variety of activities designed to encourage new ways of thinking and exploring the world.
